Running a digital out-of-home advertising network at national scale is an operations problem as much as it is a technology problem. Bexco had the screens, the locations, and the advertiser relationships. What they did not have was a system that could tie it all together without requiring a large team to physically manage content updates across dozens of sites.

Here is what made the manual approach unsustainable:

  • Every site update required someone to manage content changes individually, either on-site or through fragmented tools with no central control.
  • Different screens across the network had different dimensions and format requirements. Every piece of creative had to be manually resized and reformatted before it could go live on each display type.
  • Advertisers had no self-service capability. Every campaign required Bexco's team to act as the middleman between the advertiser and the screen, creating a bottleneck that slowed everything down.
  • Scheduling ad slots and managing cadence across the full network was a coordination exercise that consumed significant time and was prone to errors.
  • Scaling the network to cover all of South Korea under this model was simply not viable.

We built Bexco a centralised content management and advertising platform that connects to every device across their entire network and gives advertisers the tools to upload, format, schedule, and run their own campaigns without any manual involvement from Bexco's operations team.

  • Centralised device management across all sites. The platform connects to every digital signage, poster board, entry gate display, and screen in Bexco's network. Content updates, scheduling changes, and cadence adjustments push automatically to every relevant endpoint without any on-site intervention.
  • AI-powered creative resizing and formatting. When an advertiser uploads an image or video, the platform automatically detects the available display formats across Bexco's network and generates correctly sized, formatted versions for each one. No manual resizing. No reformatting. The creative just works across every screen type it needs to appear on.
  • Role-based advertiser access. Different advertisers get their own access to the platform, scoped to their own campaigns and slots. They can upload creatives, set their display cadence, and manage their own schedules independently, without touching anything that belongs to another advertiser or requiring Bexco's team to facilitate the process.
  • Slot purchasing and automated syndication. Advertisers can browse and purchase available display slots across the network. Once purchased and content is uploaded, the platform syndicates everything automatically to the right screens at the right times, with no manual scheduling required.

We built the platform around three core needs: reliable device connectivity across a geographically distributed network, an automated creative pipeline that eliminated manual formatting, and a self-service advertiser experience that removed Bexco's team from the day-to-day campaign management loop.

Each layer was built and tested against real network conditions before the next was added, ensuring that content reached the right screens reliably before we layered scheduling and advertiser access on top.

The results transformed how Bexco operates their network:
